Another busy day today .... Easter Sunday - what a flop that was as far as getting any Easter Eggs ... they told me that chocolate is poisonous to dogs so they didn't have to buy me one - talk about tight - the nearest I got was a boiled one - IS THAT THE SAME - NO IT 'AIN'T!!
The day started off by reading my fan mail from Izabella and Donna and obviously, I am destined to be making it big in the world of writing ... Ringo Starr, you might as well park Thomas The Tank engine in the station, the Cody Express is coming through ... Gald you like my stories Izabella but dont stay up too late and make sure you get lots of sleep like me - you dont have to lay on the kitchen floor though!!
We went out in the back garden for a lot of the afternoon - we couldn't go this morning because Chris was just tooooo busy to take me out there, WHY? because he was spending so much time talking to himself and swearing at the fence ... talk about useless, mind you, I have just left him to it as he reconed he knew what he was doing - When the builders were here last week, I did give the boys a few pointers so they got it right ....
Anyway, back to the garden - what an afternoon, do you remember yesterday I thought I was a Golden Retriever but today I am not so sure - I was eating leaves and minding my own business when plonker, you guessed it, Chris, fired up his petrol strimmer .... I took off up the garden like a GREYHOUND ....... Talk about laugh ...... Maureen gave Chris such a hard time - he was swearing yet again but under his breath in case she heard him!!
They said I flew up the garden so that gave me an idea - lets have a bash at that then - flying it is ........ harder than it looks though, the crows make it look easy. They tied some string on me (they were trying to get me to come when I was called but I am off flying if I can)
I tired different methods like verticle take off
That was usless, so tried going down the runway at full throttle ..... and weeehaaay up we go - not for long though so might need a little bit more work !!
