Anyway, back to the story - apart from the dog show, they had a BBQ and Chris ended up cooking the food for everyone. After they had all stuffed their faces with burgers and sausages etc. the kind lady who had put the show on, had prepared deserts and things - I was laid there eating the grass (as usual) when this lady, nice woman, bent over to say - "Ohhhh what a beautiful puppy" and as she bent down to give me a stroke, a great big lump of strawberry and cream flan departed company from her plate and landed RIGHT on the bit of grass I was eating - greedy moo, must have been the biggest lump on the table - Well - talk about my lucky day ....... that disappeared in one second flat, before any of them had chance to stop me ....... In the night, I wished I had stuck to my Arden Grange food as the old guts were rumbling away and then it happened - I don't mess about going on pavements Jon .... I decided to pebbeldash the whole of the kichen ...... what a mess .... It is now 18:00 and I have still got the squits a bit, so Maureen has gone to the vets to get some stuff to calm the old belly a bit ...... I feel fine in myself, but thought I would have a lazy day anyway ..... Take Care - Cody

He who laughs last !!
Well you have heard the expression, He who laughs last, laughs longest? - Well, we were talking to Donna (who bred me) and she told us about her holiday and how she had left Jon in charge of all the animals - obviously, he got all the menus mixed up (a man, can't multi-task, everyone knows that!! he ended up having to wash a brown sludge off the pavement where he managed single handedly to give one of my relations the screaming squits !!! - Well, Chris & Maureen thought that was funny and could imagine him outside somebody's house with a mop and bucket saying "Good Afternoon - Lovely day for it" as he swabbed the deck ...... Well - Last night, Ilfracombe Dog Club had a Dog Show, and they took me over to see if I could behave myself just long enough for the judge to give me the once over - you must be joking ..... just toooo much going on to show some stranger my teeth and to have his cold hand fondling me bits - Now, he did say to Maureen, what a lovely puppy and he has great bones ..... well how the hell did he know that, they are all at home in the back garden !!! - He let slip at the end, he would have awarded a place to one of the dogs but because he didn't have ring presence, he had to give it someone else ... not 100% sure who he was talking about, but I have got a good idea .....
