But I found a much better use for the sleeping bag - Nudge, Nudge, Wink Wink - know what I mean - Not me who's got to sleep in it !!!!
After looking at the van, and driving a bit, apparently, there was a couple of small problems with it, so they decided to take it back to Exeter to have them done, and then there was a dog show there as well .... organised or what?
We left on Thursday and of course, we had to pack. They took:-
3 'T' shirts
3 Pairs of socks 3 pairs of pants
Toothbrush A spare pair of jeans - just in case as Chris had a pair before (had a good spend up at Primark - tight bugger) and when he bent over, they ripped from the crutch to the waistband !!!
My list as you might expect from us superstar lovey darlings :-
Lead
Extending Lead
Show Lead
Water Bowl
Food Bowl
Brush
Comb
Smoothing brush
Food Cup for measuring the aforesaid food
A tin of Chappie - I like that
Collar
Scissors (in case I needed a bit taking off the top)
George - my toy giraffe !
Bone
Bed
Bed cover
Spike to screw in the ground to stop me wandering off
Spray to make me smell like a puffs handbag at the show
etc. etc. etc.
And of course, more plastic bags than Asda - In case I had an accident - If you gotta go, you gotta go !!
I am sure you get the picture
What was I talking about ..... Oh yes - being camp - I mean camping - We arrived at some field in the middle of nowhere, and I sat on guard in case somebody tried to kidnap George the Giraffe!
It was great and we went loads of places, including the pub at night. I didn't have a pint ..... I am under age and he wouldn't serve me. All that fresh air, I slept like a log ... made myself really comfy, in fact in the morning, they were up and sorted everything before I even woke up - just as well I didn't get bladdered or else I would have never got up .... Maureen had the hump - Chris was snoring and apparently, I had the wind pretty bad which is not so good in such a small space !!
When we were just about to leave the camp site, I decided, as you do, I had to go, so I thought I would leave a big mound so people could see it in the grass - See it, you could have climbed up it .... Apparently, it is just not done, so Chris picked it up with a bag, and as we were leaving, he hooked on the cycle rack on the back of the Motorhome to get rid of in the bin on our way out.
We then drove to the garage where they did all the jobs which needed doing including changing a back light which had water in it. When we went to get back in - you've guessed it, it's only been in the garage for the past two hours with a bag of my droppings hanging off the back of it !!!
Next day, we went to a show in Exeter and I was in the first class and did the usual and messed about because I was so excited as my Mom and Sister were there as well. We also met Lisa who owns one of my relations - Junior who is also a youngster but has already qualified for Crufts - Nice to have met you Lisa.
We got home okay and then today, the Mini Run went passed the house. The Mini run happens every year on August Bank Holiday - Mini's from all over the Country come to Bideford, where they all meet and then go on a drive around North Devon in aid of Childrens Hospice. There are something like 300 mini's get together - quite a sight to see.
Here is a video of it (put your sound on) - Enjoy Cody
